Almost Isn't Good Enough

The Chargers went into the enzone one again and failed the point after before the ending of the third quarter. Gentry held the lead going into fourth quarter with a score of 21-20. The fourth quarter was strictly a defensive game. Each team did not get a chance to make it in the red zone. The time was running out with 10 seconds left on the clock. The Chargers decided to go for a 45 yard field goal. The kick shocked many fans as it went through the field goal. Calloway got very excited after seeing the score was 21-23. The scoreboard had 5 seconds left on the clock and the Rams only could ask for successful kick return. Calloway kicked the ball far to Gary Lewis. Lewis caught the ball and ran from sideline to sideline missing tackles. The buzzer went off and Lewis was still on his feet, which caught everyone's attention. Lewis was on the chase while trying to score. Lewis tripped and fell shortly at the third yard line because of a pot hole in the field. The Chargers got their first victory
